NOTE: Once again; this
educational Judge's Clinic is being hosted by
the Suri Network and the AOBA Judges Training
Certification Committee (JTCC) to further teach
the judging community. The SN involvement is
totally supportive, by soliciting Suri Owners
and Breeders to bring their Suri Alpacas to this
important clinic. This teaching clinic is truly
appreciated and is a great opportunity for Suri
Owners to assist in the educational process of
Apprentices and Judges by bringing their Suri
Alpacas to the clinic. Please don't miss out on
this educational endeavor provided to the Suri
community by the Suri Network, AOBA, and the
JTCC.
AGENDA AS WE KNOW IT:

mlclingan@aol.com
7). Coordinating Suri Alpaca Collection for
Clinic; Miriam Donaldson;
alpacajack@aol.com
8). Special Feature: "Ask the Judge Session" for
volunteers/handlers
NEEDED:
1). Suri Alpacas to fill ALL color classes: WH/LIGHT/FAWN/BROWN/BLACK/MULTI/GRAY
2). Full fleece or Regrowth (3 to 9 inches) - No
Shorn Alpacas
3). Show winning Suris, AND/OR
4). Suris with conformational flaws, AND/OR
5). Suris displaying any of the five lock types
Suri owners will be responsible for daily care
and comfort of their Suri Alpacas while
attending the clinic. Bring your fans, water
buckets, hay feeders, grain, rake and poop
scoop!
You may be asked – by the JTCC – to be a
handler; not necessarily of your own Suris. As a
handler, the protocol is like that in the show
ring; only comment if you have been asked a
direct question.
The goal of The Suri Network is to have at least
6 Suris in every color class; with different
Suris presented over the two day clinic; a
collection of 70 to 80 Suris. Please show your
support for this incredible educational
undertaking by bringing your Suris. Let’s fill
up the classes – like we did at last year's
clinic.
Any questions? Please contact Miriam
Donaldson at 419-423-3890 or
alpacajack@aol.com with your questions and
commitment of support.
Again; the JTCC is responsible for assigning the
judge trainers and offering this clinic to the
judging community only. The role of The Suri
Network is in recruiting as many Suri Alpacas to
participate in this judge’s teaching clinic.
We thank you for your support;
