The Symposium offers ample opportunity to network with other Suri breeders across the country.   We will once again announce the Fleece Show awards on day ONE of the Symposium.  It will be a fun and informative event celebrating the beautiful Suri alpaca!

Our speaker line-up for 2019 includes:

Senior Judges and co-authors of the Art & Science .... Jude Anderson, Amanda VandenBosch, Cherly Gehly, 

Amy Hall, Vice President EILEEN FISHER will discuss the company's sustainability journey in the fashion world, including successes, challenges and key learning along the way.  Learn more about EILEEN FISHER here or read their 2017 Report to learn how this company has committed to build Sustainability into every aspect of their business.

Dr. Timothy Holt, pain management expert from Colorado State University, will discuss and demonstrate pain management on a live alpaca and the impact of pain on fertility rates and conception rates.

Experienced Suri Breeders will share tips and techniques you can use to prepare your alpacas for a halter show.

Again this year our mail-in fleece show will be judged before the Symposium, and all fleeces will be available to view beginning mid-day Friday!
