Description
Both lacy and restrained, this traditional Shetland Isles pattern can be knit in the yarn weight of your choice — lace weight for a light dressy scarf, fingering for a slightly heavier scarf and sport for a warm winter scarf. The pictured scarves were knit in a three ply fingering weight, one with beaded trim. The yarn of pure Suri is a high quality #2 grade, better yet would be a #1 grade. The scarf should be comfortable against the skin. Pattern by Sue Simonton.
